About the city Print
Slovenska Bistrica is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia. It provided living conditions to inhabitants already many, many years ago; today, 7000 people live and work here. The town is marked by its castle, castle-park, churches of Sv. Jernej, Sv. Marija sedem zalosti, Sv. Jozef, Mary's sign on Alfonz Sarh square and some other buildings that were built alongside the road Vienna - Trieste.
